Capella Engineering and Energy Group (CEEG) provides engineering and design for the energy industry such as oil and gas, petrochemical, industrial, manufacturing and municipal projects. Our team of engineers has over 60+ years of combined experience in these sectors either working for owners/clients or working for engineering firms.

Our expertise is focused on industry applications and systems that include but not limited to petrochemical plants, specialty chemicals, new pipeline facilities, pipeline relocations, SCADA and automation systems, pump stations, compressor stations, metering stations, manifold & valve stations, oil & gas treating facilities, well head system, amine sweetening, gas dehydrations, gas gathering systems, process plants, tankages and FERC regulated systems.

CEEG provides support to engineering through a team of experienced and qualified designers and drafters. These includes I&E, civil/structural and piping design that includes both traditional CAD and 3D design.

In addition, CEEG provides staff augmentation to support projects, environmental support services, and red-line as-built services.

Process

Our staff are skilled in using HYSYS process simulation software’s to design your unique process need. We offer services such as hydraulic analysis, line sizing, material and heat balance, Hazop and PHA, relief valve sizing, etc.

Mechanical

We will help you design you piping and mechanical systems such as pipelines, process facilities, valve stations and rotating and static equipment. Our highly trained team will help you in pipeline stress analysis using Caesar, pump selection and sizing, compressor and blower selection, vessels and tanks sizing, heat exchanger sizing, agitator sizing, columns and reactor selection and material compatibility that are tailored to your project need.

Electrical, Instrumentation, Measurement and Control Systems

We will have a detailed review of your project and we will offer power system studies that meet your requirements. We will help you develop one line diagrams, grounding plans, lighting studies, power and lighting schedules, cable schedules, protective relay coordination, development of hazardous area drawings and fire and gas system design.
We will help you select the instrumentation that fits your project requirements such as pressure, temperature, level and flow transmitters. We will help you create data sheets, Instrument index, wiring diagrams and any other instrumentation deliverables for your project.

We will prepare designs to connect all your instrumentation systems to your DCS, PLC, SIS, SCADA and process analyzers or we can help you select all you control systems for your project. Our team have worked on Honeywell TDC 3000 & Experion C-300, Foxboro I/A, Yokogawa Centum, Emerson Delta V, Allen Bradley Control Logix, Compact Logix & SLC 500, Triconex PLC system, etc. Our team can help you in PLC and DCS programming.

Civil/Structural

We will help you design your civil and structural systems for your process plants. Our team will assist in developing your foundation design, structural facility permitting, and vibration analysis for your structures. We will help you in the design of your onshore or petrochemical tank farms.
